Strats
Vanilla/MQ: Basement Skip
This refers to climbing the wall in Deku Tree's first basement. The name is inherited from vanilla speedruns in which climbing the wall (in the first basement room) skips most of Deku Tree's basement. In a Randomiser, it also provides access to checks that might not be otherwise accessible.
Basement Skip with No Items as Child
⚔️ This strat can be used to break logic, unless the Deku Tree B1 Skip trick is enabled. Only when this trick is enabled may the player be expected to achieve these ends with these items.

Basement skip with various items

There are various ways you can climb the wall in the basement:
- Ice arrow platforms (requires Ice Arrow Platforms (OoT) option enabled)
- Being Adult Link (just jump)
- Hover boots (as child, requires Ageless Boots option enabled)
- Climb Anywhere
- Hookshot Anywhere
