Hyrule Castle

Hyrule Castle is a region in OoTMM. It is alternatively called Hyrule's Castle when mentioned in a regional hint. It is found in Ocarina of Time.
Except for warp glitches, this is an Child-only location. If Adult Link tries to enter this area via loading zones, he will instead find himself at Outside Ganon's Castle.
Strats
Faster Movement to Moat
Hyrule Castle Seam Walk
✔️ This strat cannot be used to break logic.
This strat is purely for speed and has no logical impact.
Using a seamwalk to go OOB and then popping back in bounds through the moat fence (one sided collision) may be faster in circumstances
This strat skips a gossip stone.
This strat is probably slower if you need to collect wonder, butterfly (as in Butterflies Shuffle) or tree items

Moat Guards
Evading the Moat Guards on Land
✔️ This strat cannot be used to break logic.
When playing without Bronze Scale, this strat can be used merely as a time save.
The ability to get past the guards without swimming is expected when Bronze Scale is enabled.
The guards nearest to the moat can detect if Link behinds them, but there is a small amount of safe ground near the moat which Link can use to walk past the guards without going in the moat.
Entering the Castle
Entering the Castle faster with jumpslash
✔️ This strat cannot be used to break logic.
This still requires moving Talon with the Chicken. As such it skips no items. It is merely a speedup.
- Push one block so that it is overhanging the ledge (one more push and it would drop)
- Climb the block
- Run/Jump towards the crawlspace
- Jumpslash near the platform.
This skips pushing one of the blocks and requires little skill to pull off, unlike other similar skips.

It would be nice to have someone familiar with the strat edit this wiki to explain the various methods of entry e.g.; hover, bombchu + damage, etc and recommend which ones are best to learn. • Edit Article]
