Soil Shuffle is an optional feature that relates to the fairies (OoT) and items (MM) that can be spawned from patches of Soft Soil.
Soil fairies are an example of a non-renewable check; once the soil patch's item has been collected, it will return to its vanilla behaviour of spawning fairies.
Soft Soil in Ocarina of Time
To spawn soil items in Ocarina of Time:
- Ensure a bean has been planted in the soil
- Stand near the soft soil and play Song of Storms or release Spring Water from a bottle (only available with Shared Bottles enabled).
Soft Soil in Majora's Mask
To spawn soil items in Majora's Mask, stand near the patch and release bugs from a bottle.
Zora's River
The soft soil in Zora's River is capable of spawning items. This is the only soft soil that cannot spawn a Gold Skulltula.
